We’re looking for a fast-learning social media professional who appreciates the market potential of blockchain, the metaverse and Web3 and can create compelling content for Decasonic’s social media platforms to address our leadership in these sectors.
Reporting dually to both the Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Executive Officer, our Social Media and Community Manager will oversee our social media strategy and craft relevant, engaging content on both traditional social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter) as well as community-based platforms where we have an engaged audience (e.g., Telegram, Discord).
Decasonic’s Social Media and Community Manager will understand how to customize content within each platform to build connections with different target audiences. You’ll work with Decasonic leaders and collaborate with ecosystem partners to build creative campaigns and extract insights that highlight our priorities and values, resonate with our audiences and differentiate our brand.
Responsibilities
Formalize a strategy for social and community platforms that align with our overall marketing objectives, plan and brand messaging pillarsCreate and maintain an ongoing content calendar
Create engaging social and community platform posts and participate in discussion threads
Manage a social media scheduling platform and other tools that analyze and optimize performance and report on metrics
Help us stay apprised of relevant market news, trends and events by monitoring industry publications
Attend local industry networking events to represent Decasonic and build relationships with technical audiences (e.g., software developers, coders, web3 builders, etc.)
You’ll also work with an outsourced marketing agency to help create more complex content.
What We Look for in You
At least five years of relevant experience, whether working inside of a marketing/PR agency or in an in-house social media or communications role
Superior written and verbal communications skillsThe ability to quickly grasp complex technology topics and engage in virtual discussions
The ability to work independently, quickly and nimbly, and self-motivate to learn new things
