About the role

Our Engineering Managers are good people that fit our culture and mindset, and add their experience and expertise to our teamself-starters with an interest in Ethereum and blockchain technologies.

Responsibilities

• You will serve as a primary point responsible for the quality of multiple backend microservices.
• You will assist in mentoring junior developers.
• Involve in regular code reviews with peers.
• Responsible for continuous improvement of backend microservices.
• Ability to jump on escalation and help resolve product issues.
• Staying ahead in technology trends for frontend / backend and blockchain.

Required skills

• Minimum 8 years experience in Backend development languages (Java / Groovy (JVM based Languages). Other languages will be a plus
• Minimum 3-5 years experience as Engineering Manager
• You are or willing to be, a language polyglot, due to the importance of getting the best of different technological stacks to create good solutions
• Business and client tech project management experience
• People management experience
• Track record on Product development
• Proven experience on complex architecture design and development, and system integration. High load platform management experience is a plus
• High traffic product development experience
• Microservices development experience.
• Agile development experience with Lean, Scrum, XP etc.
• Event driven architectures proven rollout expertise
• Relational and Non relational database development experience.
• Java framework experience (Boot, data, web,...)

Bonus points

• Blockchain / smart contract development: Solidity / Ethereum, Web3.js or Ethers.js libraries
• NFT market experience
• ERC standards knowledge
• Passionate about automation
• Experience in Domain Driven Design
