Senior Editor, Forbes Digital Assets (Crypto and Blockchain)
Responsibilities:
- Full understanding and ownership of Crypto and Blockchain beat and well as a strong grasp of traditional banking and finance.
- Daily editing of news, features, research and analysis stories by Digital Asset staffers
- Participate in the creation of Forbes lists including Blockchain 50 and Fintech 50
- Participate in Forbes live events, webinars, podcasts and videos related to coverage
- Write news, analysis and feature stories periodically.
- Mentors junior staffers and interns
- Position reports into Executive Editor, Money & Markets
Requirements:
- 7+ years’ experience in journalism
- 5+ years experience in editing daily journalism
- Deeply sourced in the areas of financial services tech and digital asset technology
- Able to work independently, coming up with ideas, guiding and editing stories
- Team player who is collaborative
- Understanding of finance and technology related to finance
- Interest in covering financial markets, crypto markets, investing, Wall Street as well as successful entrepreneurs and business leaders
- Strong analytical, reporting and communication skills
