We are seeking a skilled and passionate Blockchain Engineer to design, implement, and maintain blockchain solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of blockchain protocols, cryptography, and smart contracts. You will work closely with our development team to build and enhance our blockchain infrastructure, ensuring security, scalability, and performance.
- Design and develop blockchain protocols and smart contracts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Maintain and enhance existing blockchain applications and infrastructure.
- Ensure the security and scalability of the blockchain platform.
- Conduct research and stay updated on the latest blockchain technologies and trends.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to blockchain technology and applications.
- Develop and refine recovery protocols for core node software.
- Enhance network security and resilience by identifying potential vulnerabilities.
- Build and maintain distributed systems designed for exceptional reliability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Blockchain Engineer or similar role.
- Strong understanding of blockchain protocols and cryptographic principles.
- Experience with smart contract development and deployment on platforms such as Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, or Polkadot.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Solidity, Rust, Go, or Python.
- Familiarity with web3.js, ethers.js, or similar blockchain libraries.
- Knowledge of decentralized finance (DeFi) and decentralized applications (dApps).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- 7+ years of general software development experience.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with layer 2 solutions, sidechains, and cross-chain communication.
- Understanding of consensus algorithms and distributed systems.
- Contributions to open-source blockchain projects.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience building and managing protocols with significant TVL.
- Prior experience in blockchain engineering at a Layer-1, Layer-2, or Infrastructure project.
- Experience in researching and developing protocol upgrades.
- Knowledge of blockchain governance systems and GitHub actions.
- Experience with blockchain and/or Ethereum smart contracts and unit testing.
