WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Own the organizations approach to product/operational analytics, data visualization, analysis and modeling
- Design and deliver data visualizations for enhanced decision making
- Develop strategies to leverage data and streamline company processes using advanced data modeling
- Establish and execute a vision for the delivery of information and analytics platforms
- Evangelize utilization of business intelligence technology across functional roles
- Create custom tools to assist specific business processes
- Identify undocumented process and methodologies, provide feedback to management for documentation improvements
- Manage various business intelligence projects simultaneously
- Establish testing protocols to ensure the accuracy of the data presented
- Evaluate and select technical tools for data visualization and data mining
- Collaborate and communicate regularly with the executive management team
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science or related discipline
- 3+ years of professional data science experience
- Data mining, machine learning and data visualization
- Python
- R
- SQL (Postgres) and/or NoSQL (DynamoDB, GraphDB)
- Big Data Pipelines (Kafka, Spark, Hadoop, SQS)
- AWS native architectures (Redshift, Snowflake and Aurora)
- Ability to break down and understand complex business problems, define a solution and implement it
- Ability to accurately perform complex mathematical computations
- Demonstrable depth of knowledge in blockchain, crypto and DeFi (independent learning or professional)
