About the role

The Crypto.com App team is looking for motivated support developers to provide world-class support to our customers and our teams. This is a great opportunity to work on the world’s most popular and fastest-growing crypto application, ensuring our customers get the best user experience while using our app. You will be exposed to all areas of our innovative, rapidly scaling business, providing abundant opportunities for long-term career growth.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 3 application support to internal and external users.
  • Grow the Level 3 dev support team to support x100 times of current traffic
  • Understand our product offering and services at the implementation level, and be able to troubleshoot and solve incidents.
  • Design and develop monitors, tools, and applications to improve support and operational efficiency.
  • Work closely with Development, SRE, Level 2 support teams to provide the best user experience to our customers.
  • Work with Level 2 support team to maintain the knowledge base, support handbook, application support SLAs, run incident review meetings, and provide mentorship and training to junior ASEs.
  • Be part of the weekly on-call rotation.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with one or multiple programming languages, e.g. Ruby, Java, Python, JavaScript, Elixir
  • 3+ years of software development or L3 support experience for end customer-facing applications
  • Strong understanding of production support domain - tickets, monitoring, processes, and metrics
  • A passion towards problem-solving and strong decision-making ability
  • Self-starter with strong ownership in delivering results.
  • Must be able to think proactively; excellent follow-through and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English

Desirable

  • A technical background (BS/MS in Computer Science/Engineering or related discipline/experience)
  • Experience with AWS products, PostgreSQL and infrastructure setups
  • Experience with DevOps
  • Experience with ITIL/ITSM framework
  • Knowledge of distributed applications/enterprise applications
  • Experience in hiring and training junior engineers
  • Speak Cantonese
