About the Team
The Compliance function at OKX is responsible for the overall compliance culture at the company. We’re a team of risk-minded problem solvers who advise the business on the company’s regulatory obligations and enterprise risk.
About the Opportunity:
The successful candidate will have prior Employee Surveillance monitoring experience in the financial services industry. You’ll work closely with other compliance team members to enhance and develop an Employee Surveillance monitoring program which will be responsible for protecting our organization against internal risks. You will monitor sensitive information, identify risks associated with employee accounts and transactions, and collaborate across the organization with team members in multiple time zones to mitigate those risks promptly. At your core, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, process-driven environment and must be able to adapt and adjust plans on-the-fly. You must also have strong project management skills and willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the job done. Most importantly, you’ll drive results in enhancing our Employee Surveillance function.
What You'll be Doing:
  • Develop and enhance global Employee Trade Surveillance programs, controls and operational processes to monitor and mitigate internal risks and violations of company policy.
  • Responsible for maintaining and updating an accurate database of sensitive internal information
  • Manage all aspects of Employee Surveillance including reviewing suspicious account behavior, monitoring transaction activity, approving/denying internal employee requests, corresponding with employees in order to gather information
  • Investigate potential cases from beginning to an appropriate resolution.
  • Lead the implementation of procedures that will improve detection of internal risks.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders within Compliance and the business to mitigate risk and build controls around Employee Surveillance, driving a culture of Compliance.
What We Look For in You:
  • BA/BS in a related technical field or equivalent practical experience
  • At least 4+ years of experience in Employee surveillance, or closely related field
  • Proficiency with financial markets, Employee monitoring requirements etc
  • Experience gathering sensitive information from employees or other internal stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on teamwork, initiative, and integrity
  • Comfort with working in a fast-paced environment, managing projects, solving problems and handling multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of employee monitoring requirements and ability to adapt to evolving risks

Okcoin Statement:
The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $152,000. The salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. In addition to the salary, a performance bonus and long-term incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
