Equity Research Associate – Crypto
H.C. Wainwright, a boutiqueNew York City-based investment bank focused on capital markets and equity research, is seeking an experienced Equity Research Associate to support our Senior Analyst in covering companies in the Crypto sector. This is a unique opportunity to join one of the leading Crypto-focused research franchises in the industry.
Job Description
The Associate will work directly with the Senior Crypto Analyst on all aspects of the research process including: performing financial analysis and due diligence, writing investment-driven research reports and notes, and conducting a wide array of industry and competitive analyses. Candidates should possess a strong professional track-record and be able to demonstrate a thorough grasp of financial concepts. Other qualities we look for are: a strong work ethic, a positive and collaborative attitude, clear and concise communication skills, and the desire to take initiative.
Responsibilities
·Work with Senior Analyst to conduct company and industry research.
·Transform research into investment notes, reports and presentations.
·Build and maintain company-specific financial models and track key industry data.
·Meet with company management teams and engage with institutional investors.
·Attend industry conferences and meetings.
Job Requirements
·1-3 years of experience in investment research (sell-side or buy-side).
·Candidate should have strong writing, financial modeling, and verbal communication skills.
·Series 7, 63, 86, and 87 licenses.
·MBA and/or CFA a plus, but not required.
·Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.
·Live in NYC area or willing to relocate.
