What you’ll do:

You’ll join a nimble, fast-moving product team, collaborating cross-functionally with design, engineering, marketing, and compliance teams to bring Public’s mission to life. You’ll execute on and continue to build our trading systems and account management roadmap. From greenfield projects to optimizations, you will incorporate data, research, and product sense to inform product design, strategy, and execution while balancing prioritization for an agile team. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders and have a direct impact on Public’s mission of making the public markets work for all people.

Who you are:

• You have 4+ years experience as a Product Manager within a startup environment
• You are comfortable leading API integrations with external vendors across clearing and custody partners
• Uncanny attention to detail from drafting product specs to reviewing customer metrics
• Passionate about user experience and solving problems around your craft in a scalable manner
• Self-starter attitude and ability to work independently
• Understanding of and experience with agile methodologies, rituals, and communication with the engineering org
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work cross-functionally with teams of engineers, compliance, risk, operations, go-to-market and more.

Bonus Points:

• Experience in brokerage, clearing, and custody
• Awareness of financial regulation in the US
• FINRA licensed
• Familiarity with data analytics tools: SQL, Mixpanel, Segment, Looker, etc.
• Familiarity with product tools: Jira, Asana, Pivotal Tracker, Monday, etc.
• Experience working with a global team
