Galaxy’s Mining Team is building a one-stop shop for mining related financial services by utilizing our in-house expertise to provide novel and sophisticated tools for Bitcoin miners. The mining team works across all Galaxy business units to create and enhance product offerings to miners.
About You
Your goal is to bring new miners to Galaxy and ensure our existing clients remain satisfied, while having fun doing it! The Bitcoin Mining Business Development role will be the first impression miners have of Galaxy. You should be a great listener, a strategic thinker, possess a strong understanding of the products we can offer, and be focused on execution. You have strong interpersonal skills. We want you to be the person everyone wants to talk to about Bitcoin mining both internally and externally. You have a strong appetite for complex problem solving in a high growth business – no challenge scares you. You should be an intellectually curious self-starter and be comfortable “wearing multiple hats” in a fast-paced environment. Mining never sleeps.
On a given day at Galaxy, you will:
- Develop and grow your relationship with Bitcoin miners
- Work both internally and externally on providing solutions for miners
- Leverage the firm’s capabilities in many different circumstances
- Be comfortable putting yourself out there
- Be able to help miners grow their businesses by offering the best solutions for them
- Cater to Bitcoin miners needs and be able to identify solutions that are useful
- Work closely with the mining team and other verticals at Galaxy
You’ve worked hard for:
- 2+ years of work experience in a trading or financial services role, you understand the basics
- Strong interest and curiosity in Bitcoin and preferably experienced in bitcoin mining – we expect you to know what’s going on in the industry and actively participate
