Senior Product Analyst - Sequence

About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Product Analyst with a strong background in SQL and a deep understanding of KPIs and product development to support our product teams for Sequence.
In this role, you will analyze user behaviour, identify areas of improvement, and provide actionable insights to help drive better product development. Your expertise in onboarding funnels, retention metrics, conversion funnels, user segmentation, and retention predictors will be invaluable in shaping our products' success.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with product teams to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop a deep understanding of user behaviour for Sequence
- Leverage SQL to analyze large datasets and extract valuable insights
- Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to track product performance and communicate findings to stakeholders
- Analyze onboarding funnels, conversion funnels, retention metrics, and user segmentation to identify areas of improvement and opportunities for growth
- Provide actionable recommendations to the product team based on data-driven insights, helping to inform product strategy and development decisions
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data analysis, gaming, and web3, and apply this knowledge to inform your work
- Act as a thought leader within the organization, driving a culture of data-driven decision-making
What You Bring
- 4+ years of experience as a data analyst or in a similar role, with a focus on product development
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Sigma, Power BI)
- Strong understanding of KPIs, onboarding funnels, retention metrics, conversion funnels, user segmentation, and retention predictors
- Ability to transform complex data into clear, actionable insights for product teams
- Experience working with large datasets and a solid understanding of statistical analysis techniques
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data-driven insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Collaborative and open-minded, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- (Bonus) Knowledge of the gaming or web3 industry and related metrics
- (Bonus) Familiarity with Python or R for advanced data analysis and manipulation
$90,000 - $120,000 a year
Salary Range is in CAD Dollars.
We use highly reputable and statistically validated market data to benchmark our salary bands.
