The Risk Management Team ❤️
As an Program Manager for Assurance, you’ll join our Risk Management team to build trust with and provide assurance to MoonPay’s stakeholders by addressing inquiries about MoonPay’s security posture. You will develop a security assurance program for MoonPay and its solutions, which are state of the art and secure, while always ensuring that user experience is the priority.

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, inquisitive individual with a background in security assurance, who is extremely strategic and enjoys solving problems. We are currently looking for candidates in the US region.

What you’ll do 👀

• Build and manage MoonPay’s security assurance roadmap
• Act as a point of contact for all security-related inquiries from auditors and external regulators
• Conduct effectiveness testing for MoonPay’s controls and processes, identify and assess gaps, develop remediation plans, and track to remediation
• Engage with IT and security teams and subject matter experts to accurately inventory security controls and processes
• Develop metrics to communicate the progress and status of the assurance program
• Report the security assurance posture to senior stakeholders

• A passion for harnessing the power of digital currency and blockchain technology and services built on top of it.
• 3+ years experience at a financial institution, ideally in FinTech.
• 3+ years of experience within Security & Compliance
• 3+ years of experience leading compliance initiatives from inception to implementation.
• Knowledge of risk management and security controls and concepts, including identity and access management, network security, security architecture, business continuity, disaster recovery and best practices.
• Ability to take lead on cross functional teams, to drive initiatives and improve internal processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Excellent project management skills
• Experience representing data in graphical forms.
• Experience with SaaS solutions.
• Able to work well independently or as part of a team.
• Customer oriented in your approach.
• An innovative and creative mind looking to suggest new solutions to old problems.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with great attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Additional languages will be considered an asset.
• First-rate decision making skills, bias for action and sound judgement.
• Ability to maintain a strong operational focus with the capacity to manage time sensitive workflows across competing priorities.
• B.A./B.S. degree; quantitative or technical degree a plus.
