Live Operations Game Producer

We are looking for a highly organized Producer with exceptional communication skills and proven live operations game production experience. In this role, you will be responsible for live operations and ritual development for NFL Rivals, working with multiple disciplines to plan and schedule content and health of the game releases, and drive the day to day live operations.

You will own the live production schedule and process, establish and maintain communication across disciplines, develop timelines, and organize, manage, and track the software team's workload to achieve milestones. You will be responsible for identifying risks, providing mitigation plans, and regularly communicating development status to internal stakeholders.

Strong problem-solving skills, a passion for games and live services, facilitation of collaboration with remote resources, a team first attitude, and maintaining a friendly, supportive, creative environment are all essential to your success.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as point of contact and work with stakeholders and resources to define feature requirements, determine resource needs, and create/maintain production schedules for Mobile live operation needs;
  • Regularly communicate projects and milestones, status, risks, and opportunities;
  • Actively manage risk by proactively identifying mitigation strategies, gaining alignment on solutions, and executing;
  • Collaborate with internal teams to guide liveop features and content from concept to implementation;
  • Day to day creation and communication of tasks, priorities, and deadlines for internal resources;
  • Ensure that project goals, objectives, milestones, and deliverables are fully understood, communicated and achieved;
  • Facilitate healthy collaboration, strong communication, effective process, and accountability across all individuals and teams supporting the franchise;
  • Tracks progress of team’s deliverables and provides regular status reporting and capacity plan updates;
  • Identify project risks through regular monitoring of production status, team morale and communication channels; call out project risks and create mitigation plans before they become an issue;
  • Ensuring the teams have all the necessary information required to do their job and maintain an environment that encourages creativity and collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of game production experience across multiple mobile game titles, and experience running live operations and solving complex problems for a large scale game;
  • Extraordinary team skills with an empathetic, collaborative work >
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multi-functional teams to efficiently deliver high-quality features and experiences on time;
  • An enthusiastic, passionate, performance-driven, self-starter attitude, with the ability to multitask;
  • Experience with Live Operations management in Games;
  • Ability to work with leadership and resources to align priorities and develop realistic plans to deliver on schedules;
  • Ability to set and manage stakeholder expectations amidst competing priorities;
  • Expert project and people management skills;
  • Experience working in a Scrum/Agile software development environment;
  • Comfortable in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Organized, flexible and able to work with multiple stakeholders;
  • Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and the G-Suite;
  • A passion for games;
  • NFL knowledge is beneficial.

The expected base salary range for this role is based on the location where the employee’s work will be performed and is aligned to one of our three compensation pay range tiers. Base pay is just one part of Mythical’s total compensation package, which is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their efforts and contributions. This role is also eligible to participate in Mythical’s Corporate Bonus and Equity Plan.

Pay Ranges by Tier:

Tier 1: $110,000 - $152,000

Tier 2: $99,000 - $136,000

Tier 3: $88,000 - $121,000

Locations by Tier:

Tier 1 Locations: San Francisco Bay Area - California

Tier 2 Locations: Remainder of California (outside of the SF Bay Area), Washington state, Massachusetts state, New York state

Tier 3 Locations: All other states outside of California, Washington, Massachusetts, and New York

*The role is open to candidates in the following states on a remote basis: California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Kansas, Maryland, Massachusetts, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Texas & Washington

The base salary for each successful applicant will be dependent on a variety of factors, including work location, education, qualifications, competencies, relevant work experience, business needs, and market demands. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
