Blockdaemon is looking for a Web Designer to join our rapidly growing design team. Designers are a critical part of defining how we express our brand to the world. You will be working with a team of product designers, marketing designers, and UX researchers to grow the reach of the Blockdaemon brand across the web.

You’ll work closely with the marketing team to work on a variety of projects, to help customers discover our features and resources.

Responsibilities

• Champion and evolve Blockdaemon brand across the web
• Own the design of our website and other web assets, including microsites, landing pages, and other web properties
• Express our brand and product through multiple digital channels
• Help the entire team grow by pairing with other designers and the marketing team to share insights, tools, and best practices
• Own projects from start to finish to ensure that they are meeting our quality standards
• Create illustrations, digital images, and graphics for marketing and promotional materials
• Design layout and look of case studies, product pages, and digital event pages
• Ensure visual consistency by aligning with the brand and overall creative direction

Skills and Required Qualifications:

• A passion for solving design problems and championing all facets of brand expression (content strategy, design and art direction)
• Strong visual design and layout skills—have the ability to see how an image can tie a piece together
• Systems thinking—we are building a scalable design system
• Ability to work as part of a highly collaborative team, listen effectively, and respect others while offering and receiving constructive feedback
• Strong communication skills—Not everyone you work with will be a designer, you’ll need to bring the team along for the journey
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks within a decentralized work environment—Blockdaemon is a remote team!
• Figma, Webflow, Wordpress, Adobe Creative Suite or similar industry-accepted toolset
• 3-5 years of relevant experience specializing in web design

Preferred Qualifications:

• Organized, able to think and perform outside the box, and be able to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment
• Blockchain-related experience is a big plus!
