As our PR Specialist, you’ll be responsible for managing our public relations efforts and building relationships with media, influencers, and stakeholders. You have a deep understanding of web3, especially Ethereum and DeFi, and a pulse on the landscape and nuances of Crypto Twitter. You know all the OG DeFi protocols like Maker, Compound, and Uniswap, and are interested in keeping up with the latest projects and developments coming out in the web3 space. The Quantstamp team is fully remote and distributed across 15+ countries, so the ability to communicate effectively in this type of environment is a must.

Reporting to the Head of Communications, you’ll work closely with the rest of the communications team and other internal teams to develop and execute effective PR strategies that enhance the visibility and reputation of Quantstamp's brand.

In this role you will:

• Assist in managing and coordinating all media relations activities, including developing relationships with journalists and securing media coverage
• Create a robust editorial calendar spanning proactive media opportunities
• Support the development and implementation of a comprehensive public relations plan that aligns with our overall communications strategy, brand, and audience
• Distill and articulate complex topics into compelling, easy-to-digest formats for press and key influencers
• Pitch story ideas and secure media coverage in targeted publications and outlets
• Work closely with the Head of Communications to craft narratives and develop content that supports our overall communications strategy (press releases, blog posts, podcasts, video scripts, etc)
• Monitor media coverage of the company and industry trends, and provide regular updates to the communications team and other internal team members
• Assist in drafting and distributing press releases and other communications materials
• Develop key messages and talking points for other teams as required, and lead the development of internal, company-wide media training
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the web3 space and identify opportunities for the company to gain visibility and media coverage
• Support with crisis communications when necessary and assist the Head of Communications in managing the company's reputation
  
  

• Experience in public relations, with a solid understanding of PR practices and communications
• Strong understanding of the web3 space
• Established connections within crypto/finance/tech media and a proven track record of securing coverage
• Familiarity with media monitoring and reporting tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Talent for building and maintaining relationships with a variety of people
• Comfortable working on a fully remote, distributed team
  
  

• Prior experience working on a fully remote team and communicating regularly and effectively across multiple time zones
• Experience in crisis communications and media relations
