Role Overview
The Gutter Labs Copywriter is responsible for distilling the brand’s voice and tone for the creation of copy for all written marketing materials under the Gutter Labs umbrella. We are looking for a driven, hard-working, and passionate copywriter with excellent written communication experience to join a fast-paced, fully-remote team, dedicated to moving culture forward in web3 through streetwear, sports, and media.
Copywriter Role Responsibilities
- Create content for all written and verbal marketing materials (including but not limited to blog posts, Discord announcements, infographics, website, and social media assets)
- Ensure that all outgoing content reflects GCG’s brand tone & voice
- Update GCG’s brand tone & voice based on strategic direction, providing guidance and best practices to other Marketing team members
- Create written templates that other Marketing team members can use for outreach (including emails and presentation decks)
- Manage social media channels on a daily basis and interact with the community in an on-brand manner to drive social engagement
- Work with UX/UI designers and front-end developers to coordinate copy changes on all relevant website assets
Copywriter Role Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
- 4+ years of creative and technical writing experience
- Expert in written communication >
- Familiarity with navigating social media platforms and WordPress
- Web3 and NFT experience preferred, with the ability to explain basic web 3.0 and NFT concepts in simple, consumer-facing language
