Job Description
We are looking for a Data Architect, with a background in data architecture and experience in solution implementation, product selection and definition, configuration, migration and transformations between cloud and hosted solutions, to take responsibility for developing cutting edge wallet applications.
Specifically, experience with Blockchain, on Exchanges (e.g. Coinbase, Binance) as well as Native Blockchains (e.g. Ethereum, Bitcoin, Polygon).
What youâll be doing:
- Work with teams to cover the complete life cycle of systems delivery from the initial agreement solutionâs functional and technical requirements through to delivery and operation.
- Requirement gathering, project planning and management, solution design, configuration and customization of data products.
- Develop data architecture and roadmap for sourcing data from multiple sources in the blockchain and Defi ecosystem.
- Recommend and design data tools and components
- Technical analysis and documentation of integrated systems.
- Providing expert advice on data products, change management and other advisory services.
- Suggesting solutions to customers based on best practice.
- Providing guidance on test plans and end-user documentation.
- What youâll need:
- Able to demonstrate not only an understanding of the different aspects of data architecture, but also creation of business cases for development of data architecture and lifecycle strategies, engineering solutions, implementation plans and estimates; an understanding of the pros and cons of different approaches; and an ability to work independently throughout the full data management lifecycle.
- Ability to communicate to our clients, the principles of data architecture and engineering across multiple domains.
- Expertise in architecture, behaviour and use cases of different data platforms (e.g. Time-Series / KX, RDBMS, NoSQL, Graphs, Blockchains).
- Expertise in extracting content from data â analytical, statistical and logic skills.
- Data Security including protecting from theft, inappropriate use, conformance with regulatory requirements.
- Hands on experience of one or more key technology areas (e.g. Oracle, Hadoop stack, MSSQL, Spark, Kafka).
- Understanding of key infrastructure elements.
- Understanding of key performance and tuning areas.
- Understanding of data management within the E2E architecture.
- Key industry software solutions .
- Understanding of business processes and requirements for each of the above technical areas understanding the âbig pictureâ.
- Good communication skills and the ability to empathise with clients and help them articulate their requirements in an area which poses particular challenges.
- Development techniques including Continuous Delivery and Agile essential.
