Responsibilities:
- Perform functional testing of the system
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into test documentation
- Configure local environments for testing services
- Identify, document, and thoroughly track bugs; monitor debugging process outcomes
- Proactively identify potential issues users might encounter
- Create and maintain test documentation (test cases, checklists, testing methods)
Required Skills and Experience:
- Experience in test automation
- Understanding of web application testing principles
- Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle (from requirements to production)
- Hands-on experience with Selenium or Selenide
- Experience working with IntelliJ IDEA
- Experience testing client-server applications on Web, API, and Database levels
- Experience with Postman and/or Swagger
- Ability to write test cases, user scenarios, and checklists
- Strong understanding of test design, including functional, integration, smoke, sanity, and regression testing
- Experience using Git for version control
- Experience working with Jira
- Familiarity with Test Management Systems (e.g., TestRail)
- Advanced user proficiency with Windows, Linux, and macOS
- Experience using Docker
Nice to Have:
- Automation experience in any testing type (UI, API, load testing)
- Experience in test automation using Kotlin + Selenide
