About Polymarket

Polymarket is the world’s largest prediction market. It’s half "put your money where your mouth is," half search engine for the future.

We're growing fast – both in terms of volume (>$1B traded so far this year) and adoption as an alternative news source. Our ambition is to become a ubiquitous beacon of truth in global media and we need your help adding fuel to the fire.

About the role

Polymarket is looking for an experienced Product Designer to join our NYC team. You must live and breathe product and be obsessed with understanding user behavior.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing beautiful world-class consumer products, with a high bar for craft and a focus on creating deeply engaging, user-centric experiences. You will work directly with our Founder and company leadership to spearhead every step of the design process from idea to launch, ensuring that our products are not only functional but also delightful.

What you’ll do

  • Visual and interaction design. You’ll create visually stunning and highly interactive designs that resonate with our users. Your work should demonstrate a keen eye for detail and a deep appreciation for craft.

  • Lead design end-to-end. You’ll partner with cross-functional leads and take charge of design initiatives, crafting innovative solutions from scratch that meet both user needs and business goals.

  • Conduct user research. You’ll perform detailed user research to inform design decisions and contribute to the overall strategy and direction of our product.

  • Prototype and test. You’ll create prototypes and conduct usability testing to refine designs based on user feedback.

  • Establish design guidelines. You’ll develop and maintain design guidelines to ensure product consistency across all platforms.

What we’re looking for

  • 8+ years of experience in product design

  • Strong portfolio of design projects, ideally with consumer-facing applications

  • Proficiency in prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD)

  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to bring an idea or vision to life.

  • A passion for the blockchain, decentralized finance, & freedom of speech.

  • (Plus) Experience designing for web and mobile platforms in the fintech or blockchain space

  • Understanding of financial markets, trading, and DeFi is a nice to have. Willingness to learn about them is a must.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary & equity

  • Unlimited PTO, Health, Vision, & Dental coverage

  • 401k match

  • Hardware setup — new MacBook Pro, big display, & accessories.

What does a web3 designer do?

A web3 designer is responsible for creating user-friendly and visually appealing designs for websites that are built on the web3 platform

This platform is based on blockchain technology and allows for the creation of decentralized applications (dApps) that can be accessed through a web browser

A web3 designer would be responsible for creating the user interface and user experience for these dApps, ensuring that they are easy to use and navigate

They would also be responsible for ensuring that the overall design of the dApps is consistent with the brand and aesthetic of the organization or individual that is building the dApps.
