- Own and oversee the reliability, performance, and security of Radiant Commons' infrastructure and production applications and their deployment (such as the company website and hosted front-ends) ensuring they are performant and reliable
- Set up and maintain backend services services that support application deployment
- Maintain and monitor blockchain infrastructure services such as full nodes, indexers, and their associated services (including but not limited to monitoring of these services and the services of others)
- Actively participate in discussions on network governance, /consensus, and validator performance within the Penumbra ecosystem.
- Coordinate between organizations and work with external partners and stakeholders
- Have a familiarity with blockchains systems and their architecture
- Has some familiarity with Rust and Rust-based development tools
- Is excited about Privacy-first technologies and/or distributed systems
- Understands the changing needs of a startup environment and with this the evolving needs of the role
- Flexible working hours in a remote-first culture with a requirement to meet some US EST time zone meeting times
