The Opportunity

You will play a key role in helping to drive and support day-to-day commercial efforts for the CoinDesk Indices Sales team. In partnership with CDI leadership, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to solidify our products as the premier digital asset benchmarks trusted by both TradFi and crypto-native institutional clients.

A strong candidate will have knowledge of indices and how index data impacts decision-making for financial institutions coupled with prior experience supporting sales teams within financial services and/or the crypto industry.

What You’ll Do:

  • Partner and support the Product and Sales teams throughout the full deal lifecycle to help drive business development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Product and Sales Leadership to translate clients' and prospects' feedback into effective go-to-market and messaging.
  • Communicate with clients directly to facilitate responses to outstanding questions.
  • Work closely with Product, Sales, Engineering, Index Governance, and Marketing teams to gather and prioritize feedback on our products.
  • Assist the Sales team in client meetings, executing agreements, maintaining deals, and advancing deal progress internally.
  • Track revenue and identify new business opportunities.
  • Assess the competitive environment and compile regular analyses for executive review.
  • Share insights with teammates generated from competitive research and stay informed on industry trends as well as market movements.
  • Partner with marketing teams to develop new go-to-market strategies and materials.
  • Be results-oriented - strive to meet and exceed team revenue targets.
  • Maintain data integrity in Salesforce for all sales activity and pipeline metrics.
  • Develop sales intelligence and regularly report back on improvements for pipeline generation.
  • Attend conferences and client meetings both virtually and in-person, traveling as needed.

What You Have:

  • 3+ years of sales experience in the financial sector.
  • Deep knowledge and passion for the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry.
  • You are results-oriented with a successful track record of driving brand and business objectives while managing internal & external relationships.
  • Excellent practices in client relationship management and processes with an ability to plan, record, and manage activities effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Collaborate with team members from diverse backgrounds and areas of expertise.
  • Ability to demonstrate ownership of your role through self-accountability and effective communication.

The anticipated base salary for this position is $120,000 - $140,000 per year + discretionary annual target bonus + benefits. Offered salary may vary by geographic location, including city and state, and will reflect job-related knowledge, skills and commensurate experience.
