Your mission

As a QA Engineer you’ll directly be part of Bitpanda’s payments experience team and you’ll have hands-on access to a great diversity of technologies. We’re building the infrastructure for crypto and non-crypto transactions in state-of-the-art technologies, and you’ll directly work with completely cross-functional team.

What you’ll do

  • Be an integral part of the agile development workflow and an advocate for testing and code quality within the engineering teams you work with, from stand-ups to sprint planning, to backlog refinement and long-term planning.
  • Ensure that we provide fast and well tested payment (both adding and withdrawing from the Bitpanda platform) methods.
  • Execute functional, end-to-end, integration and simple performance (load) tests using Javascript, Cucumber and Postman.
  • Work with mobile, frontend and backend engineers to ensure quality development throughout the development life cycle and help deliver well tested releases.

Who you are

  • 3+ year track record of being a QA, backed up with both automation and manual testing skills.
  • You've worked with testing frameworks like postman and cypress and can hit the ground running.
  • You're confident with JavaScript or TypeScript for testing RestAPIs and web applications.
  • K6 is not new for you, but something you're eager to grow your knowledge in and start load testing.
  • Extra bonus points for hands-on experience with AWS Services, observability tools like DataDog, Maestro
