We’re looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated designer to help us build the next generation of financial products. You’ll be joining a small but close-knit product team known for developing category-defining UX. You’ll be knee-deep in solving cutting-edge human-computer interface problems, developing new mental models for the next million users of decentralized finance, and defining the design culture of a small but growing organization.
We are headquartered in SoHo in New York City, and this role has the option to be partially or fully remote.
Responsibilities:
- Lead medium to large projects from discovery to launch, balancing attention to detail with low fidelity sketches as needed
- Own the end-to-end user journey
- Design experiences across mobile and web
- Present and advocate design solutions effectively
- Sought out as a design mentor and expert within the company
- Engage in the design reviews, offering, and receiving feedback on design work
- Collaborate as a lead with cross-functional peers to drive product strategy and great user experiences
- Design with a focus on both customer experience and business outcomes
- Apply design expertise to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways
Requirements:
- 8+ years of Product Design experience
- Experience with crypto and using dapps
- Collaborative, low ego and open-minded
- Sharp attention to detail and strong understanding of craft: visual design, interaction design, and prototyping
- Expertise of patterns, best practices, and design standards
- Fluency in Figma, component, design systems, and writing implementation specs
- Ability to identify problems, generate and socialize solutions
- Ability to own design process end-to-end from discovery to launch
- Ability to collaborate and partner strategically with Leadership, Product, and Engineering partners to drive and influence product decisions
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience creating crypto tools
- Experience with animation/motion design
Minimum full-time salary of $175,000-$210,000. Disclosure in accordance with New York City's Pay Transparency Law. Full Time employees at Uniswap Labs are also eligible for other compensation elements, including equity, tokens, and benefits, dependent on the position type.

Web3 product designers need to be familiar with blockchain technology, smart contract programming languages, and decentralized networks, in order to design products that can operate effectively in a decentralized environment
They need to be able to work with developers and other stakeholders to ensure that the product is designed in a way that maximizes user control and ownership, while minimizing the potential for fraud or malicious activity
Web3 product designers may work on a range of products, such as decentralized finance (DeFi) platforms, non-fungible token (NFT) marketplaces, decentralized social networks, and more
