As great enthusiasts and active contributors to the open-source blockchain communities we help decentralized protocols and developer platforms to accelerate growth of their ecosystems. We specialize in supercharging developer adoption and network usage.

Our team of experts deliver hands-on coding to ship applications, elaborate smart contracts, robust developer tools and improve performance/cost of oracles.

We are now looking to hire a cross-disciplinary team to help Protofire scale. As such, we’re looking for a Project Manager to manage our key blockchain projects.

The ideal candidate must have a background in technology, management or budgeting and possess strong analytical and team building skills. We expect you to be able to get the best out of people and projects you’ll oversee.

How you will make an impact

• Build excellent relationships with our clients by delivering every project on time within budget and scope.
• Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility with support of the technical team.
• Develop a detailed project plan to track progress and handle changes in project scope, schedule, and/or costs.
• Implement and promote agile methodologies and ensure adherence to high quality standards.
• Manage internal talent and third parties/vendors performance for the flawless execution of projects.
• Manage team leaves/vacations requests to assess the delivery & financial implications and plan accordingly to avoid/mitigate impacts.
• Become a trusted advisor for clients to handle potential new business opportunities.

What you need to succeed

• Experience working as a Project Manager in IT for at least 3 years in Blockchain-related or open source projects
• You possess a natural ability to build and nurture good relationships with your clients.
• Communicating effectively with different stakeholders, both technical and functional, comes naturally to you.
• You are proficient at analyzing issues and obstacles to determine root cause(s), weighing options, choosing appropriate courses of action, and measuring and revising strategy based on results.
• Outstanding organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
• Business acumen and a true interest in blockchain technology and its ecosystem.
• Bilingual level of English and Spanish
• Significant experience working with distributed teams
• Good understanding of technical language, tools and development process
• Agile Methodologies experience

This is a remote position open for Argentina or other LATAM countries able to overlap hours with ARG time zone
