Role Overview:

As the second Business Operations hire, you’ll be joining a young team with a lot of autonomy and decision-making power over the future of the company, while also having access to mentorship from your manager and the rest of the Business team. This role offers hands-on experience in working with engineering teams, analyzing technical documentation, and supporting the Halliday leadership team within the dynamic blockchain industry.

Key responsibilities:

• Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and industry dynamics to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic decision-making
• Develop and maintain operational processes, systems, and metrics to optimize efficiency and scalability
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Product, Sales and Marketing, to align on business objectives and drive execution
• Lead special projects and initiatives aimed at improving business performance and driving innovation
• Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior leadership to support key business initiatives and investment decisions

Who we are looking for:

• Understanding of blockchain
• 2+ years experience in investment banking, management consulting or related field
• Meaningful experience with Microsoft Office, Figma, Jira and/or SQL
• Willingness to travel for conferences
