About the role:
The Legal Counsel will be responsible for overseeing all legal aspects of Anti Capital’s operations in Taiwan and beyond. This role requires expertise in cryptocurrency regulations, corporate governance, and commercial contracts. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the crypto and financial technology sectors and will work closely with our management team to navigate complex legal challenges and ensure compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice on cryptocurrency / financial regulations, compliance, and risk management.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including partnership agreements, vendor contracts, and client agreements.
- Ensure compliance with local and international laws, regulations, and industry standards related to cryptocurrency and trading activities.
- Develop and implement legal strategies to mitigate risks and protect the company’s interests.
- Collaborate with regulatory bodies and external legal counsel as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with legal developments and changes in the cryptocurrency industry to advise on potential impacts to the company.
- Provide legal training and guidance to internal teams on regulatory compliance and best practices.
Who you are:
- A Master’s degree in Law or higher is preferred.
- Admitted to practice law in Taiwan; additional qualifications in other jurisdictions a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of legal experience, with a focus on cryptocurrency, fintech, or financial services.
- Experience in drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in Mandarin and English, both written and verbal.
