Job Description

As a Quantitative Researcher at Kronos Research, you will gain exposure to all aspects of our quantitative trading operations, from risk management to account operations to running simulations and monitoring production trading performance. You will work closely with our Quantitative Developers and Software Engineers to expand our global trading presence efficiently and profitably.

Responsibilities

To join our team, you should be excited to:

  • Support the trading and risk management day to day activities in DeFi and CeFi
  • Be under the guidance of senior traders
  • Conduct research in trading alpha, pricing models, asset allocation, execution cost analysis, etc
  • Other ad hoc activities

Requirements

  • Strong background in a quantitative discipline such as EE/CS, Math/Physics, Stats/Econ/Finance/Financial Engineering
  • Detail-oriented and sharp with numbers
  • Self-starter who takes ownership of projects from beginning to end
  • Able to approach problems with curiosity, and provide creative solutions
  • Advanced skills in Linux and one or more of the following: C++, Python, SQL
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as a great team player
  • Background in any of the following areas is a plus: machine learning, trading, blockchain technology, cryptocurrency, Decentralized Finance (DeFi)
