We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Strategy and Research Lead to join our team. Reporting directly to the Head of Strategy and Economic Research, you will be responsible for establishing a deep technical understanding of Chaos Labsâ Ideal Customer Profile, developing relationships, and ultimately converting strategic prospects into clients. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, deep technical knowledge of DeFi, and excellent presentation and writing abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical and DeFi Expertise:Ability to understand and translate complicated DeFi and technical use cases and pain points to business solutions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to compose proposals for prospects and customers showcasing the pain points and value proposition
- Utilize industry knowledge to identify new business opportunities and drive innovation.
- Communicate effectively using industry-specific language and concepts.
- Collaboration and Accountability:Own and be accountable for the successful conversion of the inbound sales pipeline
- Partner with internal stakeholders to align pipeline progression with resourcing and delivery timelines.
- Contract Negotiations:Lead contract negotiations with clients, ensuring agreements are beneficial and aligned with company objectives.
- Manage the contract lifecycle, from initial discussions through to execution.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all contract negotiations.
- Proactive "Yes" and "Doer" Mindset:Exhibit a positive, individual contributor and can-do attitude in all aspects of work.
- Take initiative to identify and solve problems, often before they arise.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a commitment to achieving results.
Requirements:
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years in roles such as DeFi researcher, solution architect, or similar positions
- Proven track record in technical pre-sales or related functions within a SaaS environment.
- Robust technical knowledge of DeFi protocols with a keen interest in expanding this expertise.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and translate complex technical concepts into straightforward business language.
- Strong familiarity with operational best practices and a process-oriented approach.
- Work cross functionally translating business objectives to technical requirements and deliverables.
- Proactive mindset with a strong focus on results and continuous improvement.
- Strong contract negotiation skills.
- Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and organizational skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Based in and able to work from our Tel Aviv or New York office.

- Chaos Labs provides a reasonable range of compensation. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. The range of pay for this role is $100,000 - $150,000.
