Your mission

As a Financial Insights Specialist at Bitpanda, you will be responsible for analysing and interpreting complex data sets to provide insights and recommendations that support business decisions. Your work will help identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and enable stakeholders to make data-driven decisions. You will work collaboratively with business stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements, and use your expertise in data analysis to provide solutions that meet their needs. Your work will be essential to drive business growth and optimise performance.

What you’ll do

• Independently assess complex transactions and reflect them accordingly in our books
• Oversee and control all wallet-related transactions in our books (fiat and crypto-related topics)
• Develop and maintain Accounting Data Warehouse
• Seek for process improvements / automation in terms of efficiency in all Financial Data areas
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness

Who you are

• Proven experience working as a data analyst or related role in the fintech industry
• Strong analytical skills with experience in financial data analysis, data visualisation and data modelling
• Proficient in SQL, Excel, Tableau, Python, Snowflake and other data analysis tools
• Accounting background is preferable but not essential
• Excellent communication, presentation and strong problem-solving skills
