About You 


Your job includes raising awareness and building support structures that lower the barrier to entry for new community members, as well as helping existing communities grow to the next level of engagement. You will wear many hats, acting as a community leader, DeFi evangelist, and brand ambassador. 


Key Responsibilities 


  • Be in the mix, be deep in the crypto community. Represent Ammalgam everywhere — and share market intel back with HQ.
  • Develop and implement community strategies and tactics across various platforms (Twitter, Telegram, Discord, Reddit, etc.) that align with our brand voice.
  • Create engaging and on-brand content for the community that resonates with Web3 audiences, showcasing expertise in DeFi and an exciting vision of the future.
  • Develop educational resources (guides, docs, tutorials, TG mini-apps) to empower users with DeFi knowledge.
  • Partner with top ecosystems like Monad, KOLs, and community leaders to amplify our reach.
  • Assemble a dedicated global team of ambassadors.
  • Create full life cycle growth programs for community participants. E.g. hackathons, trading competitions, quests, community events etc.
  • Host online and offline events (Spaces, meetups, conferences).
  • Monitor and analyze social media metrics to provide insights and continuously improve our strategies.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive community environment, resolving conflicts and addressing user concerns.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest DeFi developments and trends.
Required Skills and Attributes


  • 5+ years of experience in community / social media marketing, preferably at a top Web3 project.
  • Deep understanding of the DeFi ecosystem and its core protocols, Web3 ecosystems, and crypto culture.
  • Always on Crypto Twitter.
  • Proven track record of growing and engaging online communities.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with social media management and analytics tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote, fast-paced environment.
  • Creative mindset with a talent for crafting compelling narratives and "meme-worthy" content.
  • Ability to work US business hours.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
