Regional Community Manager - Asia Location: Remote (Asia Region) Company: Oasis Network About Us: Designed for the next generation of blockchain, the Oasis Network is the first privacy-enabled blockchain platform for open finance and a responsible data economy. The Oasis Protocol Foundation supports projects focused on building privacy-preserving applications on top of the Oasis Network. Job Description: Overview: We are looking for an experienced Regional Community Manager to join our team and grow the Oasis Network community across Asia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in community management, a deep understanding of the Asian market, and a passion for blockchain technology. You will be responsible for coordinating local meetups, events, and conferences, as well as engaging with community members both online and offline. Key Responsibilities:
Community Engagement and Growth:
Develop and execute a strategy to expand Oasis Network’s reach and engagement in the Asia region. Foster and grow a vibrant community of Oasis Network users, developers, and enthusiasts. Engage with the community through various platforms, including social media, forums, and local events.
Event Coordination:
Plan, coordinate, and host local meetups, events, and workshops. Represent Oasis Network at regional conferences and organize community participation. Collaborate with local partners to maximize event impact.
Content Creation and Communication:
Create and curate content tailored to the Asian community, including blog posts, newsletters, and social media updates. Facilitate discussions and provide support across community platforms.
Platform Management:
Utilize community management platforms such as Galxe, Guild, and Zealy to streamline operations. Manage team collaboration tools like Clickup, Monday, and Notion for efficient project management. Maintain organization and communication through Google Workspace.
Strategy and Reporting:
Develop and implement strategies to drive community growth and engagement. Monitor and analyze community metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement. Provide regular reports on community activities, trends, and feedback to the global team.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in community management, particularly within the blockchain or technology sectors. Deep understanding of the cultural and market dynamics of the Asian region. Strong organizational and event planning skills. Proficiency in using community management platforms (Galxe, Guild, Zealy) and team management tools (Clickup, Monday, Notion). Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and at least one major Asian language. Ability to work independently and as part of a global team. Passion for blockchain technology and the mission of Oasis Network.
