The Opportunity
As a Summer Finance Intern at Auros, you will gain exposure to different areas of our business operations, primarily collaborating with the finance team under the guidance of the CFO. You will be involved in market assessments, data analysis, budgeting and reporting.
This versatile role will equip you with a comprehensive understanding of the interconnected dynamics within the blockchain industry and work on projects such as:
Accounting Research and Bookkeeping
- Conduct accounting research and prepare journal entries based on findings.
- Organize an easily accessible financial filing system.
- Prepare accounting reports for senior management.
- Perform basic bookkeeping tasks and data entry.
- Assist in financial audits and reconciliations.
Data Collection and Analysis
- Gather financial and operational data from multiple systems.
- Perform data validation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in the preparation of financial models and projections.
Reporting and Dashboard Creation
- Contribute to the preparation of monthly management reports.
- Support the visualization of trends and variances in financial data.
Variance Analysis
- Assist in analyzing budget versus actual financial performance.
- Provide support for cost analysis and identification of variances.
Budgeting and Forecasting Support
- Aid in inputting data into financial models during budgeting and forecasting cycles.
- Assist in budget preparation and expense tracking.
Who you are
Our ideal candidate will have:
- A high degree of enthusiasm and interest in working within the crypto and blockchain industry
- Currently studying an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting or related business fields
- Previous internship experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail, communication and exceptional problem-solving skills
- We require a driven individual with the ability to work autonomously
- Analytical mindset and research skills
- You can work in English
