CRYT is a new crypto exchange platform, founded by market leaders of the traditional finance industry to address the existing frustrations in the crypto industry regarding simplicity and transparency. We believe crypto is the natural evolution in the future of transfer of value for the world's economy. However, the adoption will not happen if crypto trading remains a complex and opaque domain, available and understood only by fintech-savvy individuals.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development and implementation of our data platform, which will serve as the foundation for data extraction, storage, and analytics.
- Assess various platform options and determine the most suitable foundation for our data platform, based on our unique requirements and infrastructure.
- Develop and manage robust data pipelines from various data sources including crypto custodian, KYC sevices, marketing platform, ensuring high data quality and data integrity.
- Design and manage our data warehouse/data lake systems, while ensuring the data pulled from various sources is coherently stored.
- Develop effective data models providing a unified view of the organization's data, serving as the basis for data analytics.
- Build and maintain dashboards for data visualization and reporting to support business insights and decision making.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for streamlining code integration, testing, and deployment.
- Lead the development and adoption of data governance practices.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Data Engineering (Data Pipelines, ETL, Data Quality, OLAP, Big Data frameworks)
- Experience in Analytics Engineering (Data Modelling, Data Warehouses, Workflow Managers)
- Proficiency in Python and SQL
- Experience working with BI tools, building dashboards, visualizations, and reports
- Experience with Continuous Integration Tools (Gitlab CI, Teamcity, Jenkins)
Nice to have's:
- Experience in the crypto industry.
- Experience with AWS services (Redshift, Athena, EMR, Glue).
- Experience managing cloud infrastructure and incorporating DevOps practices
